Santa is now fully booked for this event and is busy wrapping presents.

Annual Exhibition, Competition and Social 2016

Please come and join us for our re-vamped exhibition. We have over 100 models booked in covering all aspects of model engineering and showing what our members do.
Children in Need 2016

Northcliff Railway Clubhouse
The railway was open in conjunction with the Friends of Northcliffe to raise money for Children in Need. Hot drinks available as well as some activities for the children such as face painting and biscuit decorating.
Shipley Library Display 2016
From the 30th August until Friday 9th September we shall be putting on a display of models and photographs to promote the Society, this is in conjunction with Friends of Northcliff who are taking the opportunity to celebrate their 25th Anniversary and the Northcliff Heritage Project.
The display will be in the foyer of Shipley Library. Please feel free to pop along if you are interested.

Thank you to everyone that came and supported this event. The weather kept fine and we had 10 visiting locos plus 2 of our own members running.
Doncaster Exhibition 2016

The society will have its stand at this event as per previous years at Harrogate. The setup day is Thursday 19th May with models to be delivered between 11:00 and 19:00.

Invite to Harrogate MES
BMES have been invited by Harrogate Model Engineering Society to visit their new 5” and 71/4” ground level track which is approximately 800 yards long. The track is signalled with raised steaming bays that have a 12v supply, there is a hydraulic unloading ramp and turntable as well as a small station area with a water crane and a long curved tunnel.
Saturday 25th June is a suggested date and anyone interested is asked to contact John Mills as soon as possible to co-ordinate the visit.
Keighley Model Railway Show 2016

We have been invited to put on a display at the above show again.
We have a large room dedicated to the Society for models and exhibits. It’s the same room we had last year with it’s own access for loading/unloading and a toilet and is next to the cafeteria.
