Due to a national shortage of high class chefs and trained staff the restaurant at Oakwood Hall is presently closed so an alternative has been offered. This takes the form of a self service buffet, the tables and chairs will be arranged as usual.

Exhibition at Bradford Industrial Museum

We will hopefully have lots of models on display showcasing what our members get up to in their workshops as well as running our 5″ gauge portable track outside and small pond for the remote controlled boats.

BMES ANNUAL LUNCH – 1st NOVEMBER 2024

We have also arranged for an after-lunch speaker to entertain us. The Speaker is Richard Gibbon OBE, who was a Director of the National Railway Museum in York. His talk is titled “It shouldn’t happen to an Engineer” and promises to hold our attention after the lunch.
