Raised Track Re-Opening 2018
Saturday 15th September at Northcliff Railway
We are very pleased to welcome Diane Carney to open our rebuilt raised track by cutting the ribbon after a short speech at 12:00. Passenger rides will be available in the afternoon on the ground level track while guest locos run on the raised track. Various locos and models will be on display in the bottom field.

I think the Society owes a massive thank you to John and Ron plus everyone who helped with replacing the track, putting on the display and showing what BMES is all about, TEAMWORK, a great day. Well done to all!!!

All I would like to say is WOW! what a great spirited event the Raised Track re-opening was yesterday. The weather was about to spoil things then it moved away just as we finished the setup. A large thanks to those that puddled through the setup and were then able to enjoy suitable refreshments and track running.
There are too many to name on this small entry but I would like to offer a BIG thanks to you all and also to Jim for overseeing the ribbon cutting ceremony and to Diane Carney for performing this noble task.
